Emily Daniels may be categorized as a “newcomer” to the entertainment business, but the business of making music most certainly is not new to Emily Daniels. Emily grew up in Music City, and Nashville is the place she calls “home.” She learned to sing and perform early on and feels right at home in the studio and on stage.
Influenced by lyrical genius Ben Rector, melody queen Tori Kelly, the consistency of Shane McAnally, humor of Kelley Lovelace, and Martina McBride’s power ballads, Emily is a child of 90s country who pays homage to the trendsetters and legendary greats with a unique contemporary sound and perspective all her own.
Emily delivers witty, honest lyrics through heartfelt, powerful melodies. With a knack to write infectious, catchy tunes, the songstress infuses musical flavors derived from a touch of Shania Twain sass blended with a dash of Maddie & Tae honey.
The Pepperdine University grad (2015) studied psychology, and her interpretation translates in strong hooks and authentic, truthful lyrics.
Emily made her debut with the release of “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do” (March 2020). She followed with a summer tune and her sophomore release, “Ex On The Beach” (May 2020) and a heart-wrenching original that’s close to home titled “My Last Name” (August 2020). Emily released her five-song EP, Welcome to a Heartache, in July 2021.
