Jennifer Smestad

Jennifer Smestad is an American country singer and songwriter in the heart of Music City, Nashville, Tennessee. Originally from Gilbert, Arizona Jennifer moved to Nashville in 2016 with nothing but a Bible and a vision. Since then, she has written and co-written hundreds of songs and just finished recording her debut self-titled EP.

Jennifer knows how to captivate an audience with her pure country sound and infectious personality. Back in her Arizona days she was the lead female vocalist in a cover band, led worship at her home church, sang the National Anthem at sporting games and community events, and competed in the Miss America Competition in Atlantic City, New Jersey as Miss Arizona 2013, with singing as her talent. She was given the platform to share her story worldwide of overcoming Tourette Syndrome, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Social Anxiety, with which she was diagnosed at just ten years old. She was featured on Us Weekly, The Today Show, Daily Mail, and other networks, but most importantly, she touched the lives of so many others who struggled with the same or similar challenges. Music has been a passion for Jennifer since she was a little girl, as it healed her through her toughest times.

Jennifer also acts and models with Dani’s Agency (Arizona) and The Block Agency (Tennessee). She took the lead role in an international GoPro commercial that aired on ESPN and other major networks, and she played the lead in Investigation Discovery ID and TLC’s show “Women In Prison.”
