Born and raised in Las Vegas, Jordon Mitchell naturally gravitated towards bright neon lights of entertainment, and developed her real love for music growing up singing in her church choir. She moved to Nashville, TN to write songs and tell her story.
Artists like Patsy Cline, Ella Fitzgerald, Norah Jones, Bob Dylan, Reba McEntire, Grace Potter, and Bonnie Raitt have done it best, and Jordan wants to follow the paths they have paved.
Other than music, her second love is riding horses. Her dad taught her to ride before she could walk, and she even earned a National Championship for her college Equestrian Team. Jordan loves Jameson, tacos, shoe shopping, and making people smile. When not making music with her friends, she pays the rent by working at Blackbird Studios in Nashville. She write songs that are witty, heartfelt, and true. They’re a little bit folky, a little bit muddy, and just might make you cry. She’s charming and stubborn enough to win you over, and you’ll be happy she did. Just like great music, she’s not trying to be anything but real…real easy to love and hard to forget.
