Krystal had her own taste in music from an early age when she caught a snippet of Alan Jackson on the radio. From then she was hooked on steel guitar and lyrics that painted a picture of the humble truths of life. In Middle School, Krystal took off learning chords to play her favorite songs and soon began to craft and write her own.
Originally from Hickory, NC, Krystal has been on a musical journey leading her to her current residence in Nashville, TN. She is a strong believer in the power of music to heal hearts and communities. Because of this belief, Krystal works part time as a psychiatric music therapist. Most of the time, however, Krystal is writing and playing music at the downtown honky-tonks and other local Nashville venues, as well as, traveling to spread her music to a larger audience.
Krystal has a strong voice and high energy as well as a quirky personality on and off the stage. She feels her true artistry lies in her lyrical writing and Krystal has won several songwriting competitions including the Hickory Oktoberfest Songwriting Competition and Old School Restaurants Songwriting Competition in Franklin, TN. Her influences include a blend of traditional and 90s country, blues, and Americana/root music. Krystal Is currently working on a 7 song EP with releases set for the fall of 2021.
